For those of you starting a new face care routine, here's a good way to start. It won't take you much time and will be worth the effort.
- Step 1: Clean. Washing your face with a facial cleanser will help remove the day's swear, dirt, pollution, sunscreen, etc. This is also a great way to address skin concerns, like reducing oiliness and pimple breakout triggers. We recommend cleansing twice a day (morning and night) and definitely after a workout.
- Step 2: Hydrate. Use a moisturizer (face lotion) to help keep your skin from becoming dry and flakey. Keeping your skin hydrated helps against environmental factors like dry weather, strong winds, and problems like eczema. With the right care, you can decrease water loss and fill the crevices between disrupted skin, helping to keep the skin surface soft and smooth.
- Step 3: Protect. SPF (sunscreen) protects your skin against day-to-day sun damage and helps slow down signs of aging. This one is key. Don't miss it.
